BOOKING AGREEMENT:
Upon confirmation of your booking, these Terms and Conditions will be activated once Taj Destinations has received the deposit and issued a written confirmation to you. In order to proceed with the booking, you must be 18 years of age or older and agree to furnish Taj Destinations with accurate and complete information as requested during the booking process. If there are multiple clients listed and reserved for the tour, the individual confirming the booking affirms to Taj Destinations that they have the necessary authorization and consent from all parties involved. They have obtained the required permissions and authorizations to book on behalf of all clients mentioned in the reservation, and have shared all pertinent information with the others to ensure their informed and voluntary consent. The information provided by them regarding all clients is thorough and precise. Furthermore, they have obtained all necessary consents and permissions to share this information with Taj Destinations for booking completion.
PAYMENT OPTION:
Online Card Payments
All payments made with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards are securely processed through our online payment gateway system. Your card information is kept confidential as your bank directly authorizes the transaction without any data passing through our system. In about 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection), the online payment gateway will provide an authorization code and confirmation of the completed transaction from your bank. The payment will be deducted automatically from your account. Departures & Cancellation of a Tour by: Taj Destinations
At Taj Destinations, we assure our clients that all FIT or group tours booked will depart as scheduled, with the possibility of reasonable itinerary adjustments if necessary. It is important to note that tour information and departure dates mentioned in brochures and printed materials may be subject to change, and this guarantee does not extend to those dates. A tour departure is guaranteed once we have received at least one confirmed booking from a client, but please be aware that this guarantee does not apply in cases of Force Majeure.
In the event that Taj Destinations cancels a tour before the agreed departure date, excluding instances of Force Majeure or client fault, we prioritize your satisfaction and present the following alternatives for your consideration:
You may select a replacement tour of equal or greater value, if a suitable alternative is reasonably attainable.
If a substitute tour of equal or greater value is not available, you may opt for a tour of lesser value and receive a refund for the price difference between the original tour and the substitute tour. Alternatively, you have the option to receive a full refund for the cancelled tour without any deductions.
We are committed to providing you with an exceptional travel experience and regret any inconvenience caused by the cancellation. Kindly inform us of your preferred option so we can assist you accordingly.
Taj Destinations is not liable for any additional expenses or unfortunate consequences resulting from a canceled reservation. These expenses may encompass visa fees, non-refundable transportation tickets, parking charges, or any other associated fees. We recognize the potential for lost earnings or missed opportunities for enjoyment, and regret any inconvenience caused.
We want to assure you that we always prioritize finding the best solution for our clients. We may opt to provide a full refund in certain situations, rather than the choices previously mentioned. Our decision will be made considering your best interests, at our discretion.
If any substantial portion of your tour is unavailable as outlined during your trip, rest assured that we will strive to offer appropriate alternative options to ensure your tour continues seamlessly. In the unlikely circumstance that we are unable to secure a satisfactory alternative or you opt not to accept any suitable alternatives, we will happily refund you for any unused components of your tour or tour-related products. Your satisfaction and happiness are paramount to us at Taj Destinations. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you of our dedication to ensuring your travel experience is pleasant and stress-free.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE POLICY:
Check-In Timings: 12:00 – 15:00 Hours.
Kindly be advised that early check-in is subject to availability. To guarantee an early arrival, we suggest booking a room starting from the evening before. Our goal is to ensure that your stay is as pleasant and seamless as possible.
Check-Out Timings: 10:00 – 12:00 Hours
Late check-out times can be organized upon request, though access is contingent upon both payment and availability.
EXTRA USAGE OF VEHICLE:
Note: Please be advised that any expenses resulting from extended use of our vehicles (such as cars or coaches with drivers) are not included in the services provided. Consequently, we must inform you that exceeding the designated transfer or sightseeing time is strictly prohibited.
CANCELLATION OF TOUR BY CLIENT
If, for reasons completely out of your control, you find yourself unable to continue with your scheduled tour, you may have the opportunity to transfer your reservation to an individual who meets all tour requirements. Please inform Taj Destinations at least 14 days prior to the departure date if you wish to arrange a transfer. If the transfer is approved, both the individual transferring the booking and the recipient will be accountable for the tour fees and any extra expenses incurred as a result of the transfer. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and seamless coordination for all parties involved.
If you have reserved a private tour with Taj Destinations and find yourself in need of adjusting your plans, rest assured that we are here to assist you in rescheduling your tour for a later date. Please be mindful that there may be associated costs. As per our cancellation policy, you will be required to cover any cancellation fees. Moreover, any unforeseen expenses that arise before you embark on the rescheduled tour, such as accommodation, transportation, fuel, taxes, or charges from third-party vendors, will be your responsibility to cover. These costs may be subject to factors such as currency fluctuations, park fees, tax hikes, or government actions affecting tour pricing. We aim to keep you informed of these potential expenses and encourage you to reach out with any inquiries or assistance you may need.
The cancellation fees at Taj Destinations are determined by the date of cancellation request received. Below is a breakdown of the fees, which are a percentage of the total tour cost being cancelled:
- 60 days & prior to arrival – 15% of the tour/service cost.
- 30 days & prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
- 30 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
- 14 days to 8 days prior to arrival – 75% of the tour/service cost.
- 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
Cancellation Policy for Wildlife Safaris in Indian National Parks
Kindly note that once a wildlife safari is booked in any of the Indian Wildlife National Parks or sanctuaries, it is non-refundable. Unfortunately, any request for a date change will be considered a cancellation, and no payment will be refunded or adjusted in such cases. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.
- 30 days & prior to arrival – 25% of the wildlife safari/service cost.
- 30 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of the wildlife safari/service cost.
- 14 days to 8 days prior to arrival – 75% of the wildlife safari/service cost.

Please be aware that we may need to make reasonable adjustments to your tour and/or itinerary. It is important to note that the route, schedules, timings, accommodations, itineraries, amenities, and mode of transport mentioned in the tour may be subject to change without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances such as sickness, mechanical issues, incidents in the tour location, flight cancellations, strikes, political disputes, entry or border difficulties, extreme weather, or any other unpredictable situations beyond our control. Rest assured that we always strive to provide you with the best possible experience. In the event of unexpected circumstances, we kindly request your understanding and wish to assure you that Taj Destinations cannot be held responsible or liable for any resulting changes or modifications.
Taj Destinations will not be held responsible for any discounts or refunds for services that were not utilized by the client, unless the fault lies with Taj Destinations, its suppliers, or representatives. This includes instances where the client's involvement in the tour is terminated due to their own actions, negligence, or violation of our Terms and Conditions. While we strive to ensure that your tour proceeds as planned, we are unable to guarantee adherence to the agreed itinerary at all times. We retain the right to adjust the itinerary if deemed necessary or advantageous. We will make an effort to communicate any modifications before the tour commences, however, this is not a requirement and we will not be accountable for any resulting refund issues. It should be noted that we have limited control over the accommodations we utilize on our tours, meaning that certain situations may be subject to constraints or variances beyond our influence.
Refund
When requesting a refund for unused services or those not cancelled in advance, we will determine the refund amount according to our previously stated cancellation policy. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that it may take 2-4 weeks for the refund to be processed due to banking procedures. Any bank charges incurred will be deducted from the refunded amount if credited to a credit card or bank account.
MANDATORY IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS
In order to streamline the booking process and make it as effortless as possible, we ask all of our valued guests (regardless of nationality) to please present a valid Photo ID when confirming your reservation. This small gesture will greatly aid us in customizing your experience during your stay.

- Foreign Nationals: Please present your passport for booking confirmation.
- NRI's (Non-Resident Indians): Kindly provide your passport or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI / PIO) card.
- Indian Nationals: Please present either your Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport.

The client acknowledges that our tour products offer adventurous experiences that may involve risks to their health and safety. It is important to recognize that adventure travel inherently comes with certain hazards. Nevertheless, we have implemented all necessary measures to reduce such risks. By confirming their booking, the client confirms that they have carefully reviewed these possible health and safety risks and are prepared to accept them within the limits of the law. We value your excitement for our tour!
By choosing to embark on this journey, the client acknowledges and assumes all potential risks that may arise. By doing so, the client absolves Taj Destinations of any liability for claims or legal actions stemming from losses, damages, injuries, or death resulting from these inherent travel risks. This encompasses activities such as adventure travel, exploring remote areas, and participating in adventurous activities outlined in our tour itineraries. However, rest assured that our team will consistently prioritize your safety throughout the entirety of the experience.
Please take into consideration that hygiene, accommodation, and transportation standards in certain tour locations may differ from what you are accustomed to in your home country. It is important to understand that the level of personal risk can vary depending on the type of tour or destination you select. If your tour entails physical activities, travel to remote areas, high altitude activities, high-risk activities, or exploring under-developed regions of India, there may be a significant level of personal risk involved. Our goal is to provide you with all necessary information to make informed decisions about your travel plans.
The client acknowledges that travel entails risks and challenges, but also recognizes their personal capabilities and requirements. They willingly assume these risks. At Taj Destinations, we endeavor to offer comprehensive support by furnishing details and advice on local traditions, weather patterns, safety issues, physical obstacles, and regulations in the regions where our tours are conducted. It is essential to understand that should the client fail to heed the information provided, Taj Destinations cannot be held liable for any consequences.
During the tour, the customer must comply with all relevant rules and regulations of India and the visited areas. Failure to adhere to these guidelines, breaking any laws during the tour, or displaying behavior deemed by Taj Destinations as potentially harmful or disruptive to others, will not be tolerated.
If necessary, Taj Destinations reserves the right to cancel a client's travel arrangements for any tour without any liability on our part. In the event of such cancellation, the client will not be entitled to a refund for any unused services or expenses incurred as a result, such as return travel, accommodations, meals, and incidental costs. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and apologize sincerely.
Clients are responsible for any expenses incurred from damage, theft, excessive cleaning fees, or any other mishaps during their tour with Taj Destinations. Clients are urged to inform accommodation, transportation, or facility staff of any existing damage and notify a Taj Destinations representative promptly. Ensuring personal safety is paramount during the tour. Proper use of safety equipment such as seat belts, harnesses, and helmets, and adherence to posted signs and warnings is essential. Failure to comply with safety instructions releases Taj Destinations and third-party suppliers from liability. Let's work together to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour experience.
COMPLAINTS
Please inform Taj Destinations immediately if you have any concerns regarding your tour. It is important that we have the opportunity to address them promptly. You may notify our head personnel/manager or any assigned representative from Taj Destinations at your earliest convenience. Please be aware that we cannot be held accountable if a complaint is not reported to us in a timely manner. We will make every effort to resolve any issues, and we kindly ask that you submit any complaints in writing within 30 days of the tour's conclusion. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us improve our services.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
When booking your tour with Taj Destinations, it is imperative that all relevant medical information is truthfully disclosed. This will allow you to properly assess your own suitability and capability to participate in our tours. We highly recommend consulting your physician to determine your fitness for the specific tour you have selected. It is also wise to seek your physician's guidance on vaccinations, medical precautions, and any other health concerns related to your entire travel experience with Taj Destinations. Please be aware that we do not offer medical advice. Our adventure tours venture into remote or less developed regions of Tanzania, where medical facilities may not meet the standards of your home country. The quality of medical care available in these areas may vary. While Taj Destinations cannot guarantee the standards or availability of medical care in these regions, rest assured that we are committed to ensuring your safety and well-being throughout your journey.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please note that Taj Destinations does not offer travel insurance to our clients. It is crucial for you to obtain adequate coverage from your home country. We advise selecting a policy that includes essential medical, evacuation, and repatriation coverage for the entire duration of your trip with us. Additionally, ensure your insurance includes personal injury and emergency medical expenses. We highly recommend extending your coverage to protect against cancellation and other unforeseen circumstances, such as loss, damage, injury, delays, or inconveniences that may occur during your journey.
Kindly be aware that the tour cost does not include any insurance coverage for you. It is essential for you to purchase separate coverage at an additional cost. When obtaining travel insurance, please inform the insurer about the specifics of your trip to ensure proper coverage. Safe travels!

This includes damages, expenses, losses, or claims resulting from client actions, unforeseeable circumstances, or the behavior of third parties not affiliated with our tour services. We also cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of your belongings while on our tours. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we encourage you to take necessary precautions. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring a fantastic holiday for you.
Ensure that you always keep a watchful eye on your personal belongings. It is crucial to not leave them unattended in public spaces, on transportation, or anywhere else. You are responsible for the security of your belongings throughout your journey. At Taj Destinations, our aim is to guarantee your safety and enjoyment. However, we cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage to your valuables or other items left in accommodations, transportation, or any other provided facilities. In the event of any unfortunate incidents due to our or our third-party service providers' negligence, our liability is limited as per applicable International Conventions. Your safety and satisfaction during your holiday are our utmost priorities.
FORCE MAJEURE
Taj Destinations will not be held responsible for any unfortunate incidents that may occur during your holiday, such as death, injury, illness, damage, delays, or any other losses or inconveniences to personal belongings or finances. Please be aware that Taj Destinations will not be liable for situations that are beyond our control, including but not limited to Acts of God, war or war-like activities, mechanical failures, terrorist acts or threats, civil unrest, labor disputes, government interventions, political disturbances, riots, natural disasters, or any unforeseeable events that are outside our reasonable control. While we always strive to offer the best services and take precautions, there are circumstances that can arise which are simply beyond our anticipation or control.
