Day 1: Drive from Cochin to Munnar (140 km/4 hours)
Greetings in God's Own Country! Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our tour guides or representatives. From there, you will be transported to Munnar, also known as the 'Nature Lover's Paradise'. Upon reaching Munnar, you will check-in at a hotel or resort where you can relax and unwind for the day. Enjoy a leisurely day followed by an overnight stay at the hotel/resort.
Day 2: Munnar Excursion
Embrace the sunlight filtering through the windows in the morning and wake up to a picturesque start at the hotel/resort. After freshening up, savor a nutritious breakfast before embarking on a full-day sightseeing tour in Munnar. You will be escorted to various significant landmarks and attractions, including Mattuppetty, Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot Cinema Shooting, and many others. Explore the Eravikulam National Park to catch sight of the unique Nilgiri Tahr and diverse wildlife species. A visit to Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom (Hydel) Park, spice plantations, and other notable sites will also be included in the itinerary. End the day with an overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (110 km, 3 Hours)
After enjoying breakfast at your accommodation in Munnar this morning, prepare to depart by checking out and packing your bags. You will then be chauffeured to the picturesque town of Thekkady, where a variety of activities await you for the remainder of the day. Upon reaching Thekkady, settle into your chosen hotel or resort and take some time to relax. Afterwards, embark on a cultural tour to visit one of the tribal hamlets in the area, followed by a tour of a local plantation. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of God’s Own Country and partake in an evening boat ride at the national park. After the boat ride, you have the opportunity to explore the local markets and savor the regional cuisine of Thekkady. You will spend the night at your hotel or resort before continuing your journey.
Day 4: Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey (Drive: 160 km/4 hours)
After breakfast at the Thekkady hotel/resort, complete your check-out and proceed towards Alleppey, which is one of the famous places known as the Backwater Capital of Kerala. Also known as the ‘Venice of the East’, this backwater abode is a true treasure trove for nature lovers, honeymooners, leisure seekers, and other classes of visitors as well. Upon arrival in Alleppey, proceed to your booked houseboat and enjoy the wonderful tour and maneuver the silent yet alluring backwaters. Delight in the facilities and amenities within the boat and pass through the lush coconut lagoons, never-ending paddy fields, narrow canals, and coir villages; overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 5: Drive from Alleppey to Cochin (90 km / 2 Hours); End of Tour
Upon waking this morning, enjoy the delicious South Indian breakfast and then prepare to pack your bags and complete check-out from the houseboat. Say farewell to Alleppey and make your way to Cochin for the final portion of your journey. Upon arrival in Cochin, your thrilling tour will come to a close.
