Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will then escort you to your hotel in Delhi. The day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Delhi, the national capital of India for over a century, is a captivating embodiment of India's rich history and vibrant present. This city captivates visitors with its diverse population, rich cultural traditions, ancient heritage dating back to the 4th century, and modernization of lifestyle and culture all in one place. You will spend the night at a hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a tour of Delhi. Start off by visiting Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, followed by a stroll through Chandni Chowk, the oldest and largest bazaar in Old Delhi. Take a leisurely walk to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride to the iconic Red Fort, where our driver will meet you for a tour of this historical site. Drive past Red Fort and make your way to Rajghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, where an eternal flame burns in his honor. Continue your tour with a visit to Humayun Tomb, known for its Persian-inspired architecture and beautiful garden squares with water channels. En route, pass by Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President's residence, and India Gate, a war memorial arch. Conclude the day with a visit to Qutub Minar, a symbol of Muslim rule in India built in 1193. Rest for the night at a comfortable hotel in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra by Road
After breakfast, you will depart for the beautiful city of Agra, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526 to 1628 and is now a renowned tourist destination known for its stunning Mughal-era monuments, including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, all designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon arrival in Agra, you will check in at the hotel. After some time to relax, you will visit the Agra Fort, reminiscent of the majestic Red Fort in Delhi. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors) within the fort. In the evening, you will enjoy a royal Tonga ride to the Taj Mahal, an opulent symbol of love and dedication that took 22 years to complete. This ivory-white marble monument is the final resting place of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, who commissioned its construction in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz. It is a truly remarkable sight to behold.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur by Road
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and embark on a scenic drive to the picturesque city of Jaipur, famously referred to as the Pink City of India. En route, make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of the Mughal Empire. Here, marvel at the splendid monuments crafted during the Mughal Era, such as the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, and Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Take some time to explore the nooks and crannies of Fatehpur Sikri before resuming your journey towards Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, proceed to check-in at your designated hotel. Jaipur is renowned for its distinctive pink sandstone architecture, earning it the nickname Pink City. The city's monuments showcase a blend of architectural styles, while its vibrant bazaars are a treasure trove of traditional handicrafts and Jewellery. The regal ambiance of Jaipur provides a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Rajput kings. Enjoy dinner and relax for the night at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to explore the sights in Jaipur. Begin by visiting the Amer Fort, a historic structure from the 16th century showcasing private halls, pavilions, former royal chambers, and spaces once used by Rajput women. The fort's reflection on Maota Lake creates a mesmerizing sight, which you can experience during an elephant ride. Next, venture to the City Palace, featuring a blend of private and public chambers, silverware, courtyards, gateways, and the King's personal quarters. Afterwards, visit Jantar Mantar, an impressive astronomical observatory boasting the world's largest sundial, the Samrat Yantra. Discover the Hawa Mahal, a magnificent five-story palace constructed in 1799 during Rajput reign, famous for its intricate lattice-designed windows. In the afternoon, feel free to explore the bustling markets offering textiles, gems, carpets, and handicrafts—ideal for purchasing souvenirs. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur to Varanasi by Flight
After breakfast, our representative will provide transportation to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Varanasi (please note that the flight ticket is not included in the package). Upon arrival in Varanasi, our representative will greet you and accompany you to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the city. Situated on the banks of the Ganga, Varanasi is a historic city with a rich cultural heritage. Known as Kashi and Benares in ancient times, this city is over 3000 years old and holds great significance for Hindus. It is believed to be the sacred dwelling place of Lord Shiva, the God of Destruction. Many Hindu pilgrims visit Varanasi each year to purify themselves by taking a dip in the holy waters of the Ganga, which are believed to cleanse all sins. Relax and unwind at your hotel for the night.
Day 7: Varanasi Sightseeing
Embark on your Varanasi sightseeing tour with an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges, where you can admire the stunning sunrise views. Return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to Sarnath, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site. Explore the various temples and monuments dedicated to Buddha. Visit the New Vishwanath Temple, also known as the “Birla Mandir," situated within the Banaras Hindu University and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue your tour with a visit to the Tulsi Manas Temple, built by the royal family of Banaras in 1964, where the renowned poet Tulsidas is said to have written the epic "Ramcharitramanas." Nearby is the Durga Temple, known as the monkey temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga. In the evening, experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Return to the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight at the hotel in Varansi.
Day 8: Varanasi Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel, and then our representative will escort you to Varanasi Airport for your return flight home.
